Separate the first visit from later access
A clear site on delivery day can become crowded during the job. Explain expected phases, gates and receiving procedures to the rental contact. Have the site manager review how equipment remains reachable for servicing after storage, fencing and other deliveries change the approach.
Agree the reporting and removal process
Review included attention, supplies and how to report a problem with the facilities. At completion, confirm the collection request and who preserves entry. Finishing work or handing over the building does not automatically establish that a supplier visit has been arranged.
Equipment and service details to compare
Make routine visits practical
A recurring rental still needs a clear service approach. Discuss locked gates, loading times and any periods when access cannot be granted. Keep vehicle and pedestrian routes distinct where the site plan requires it. Confirm cleaning, supplies and waste removal in writing; do not assume that an unspecified weekly visit covers every workload.
Close the rental deliberately
Request collection through the agreed contact and confirm the removal arrangement. Finishing the job or sending the crew away does not itself schedule pickup. Keep access available until the equipment has been collected, and review any extension or schedule change before relying on it.
